I would think that a locking hood handle would be rare, but I have no idea of it's value.
I have heard of them, but don't know if I have ever seen one.

It is not the Genuine Ford locking hood ornament but an aftermarket type that some actually like better stylewise. Does it need replated? I would like to buy if you are selling but I have no idea your other question about its worth.

There has been new keys made for it, and does work flawlessly. It does however need re-plating. I know what I have in it, and don't really know it's worth. Kinda neat piece though, I just don't know if I would part with it just yet. I was only wondering it's rarity.
