Re: f100 steering
I rebuilt the 2-tooth box in my coupe 12.000 miles a go with needle brgs on a good hard sector shaft & also modified hsg for a needle thrust brg to replace brass washer also shortened pitman arm & installed teflon ball seats. It steers like a dream even@60 mph.I tried another A with F-100 steering & it didnt steer any easier except when the car was not moving, and the steering seemed a little slower.

Re: f100 steering
I've read through this entire thread and what year f-100 box are you guys talking about? I've eyeballed a couple F1 boxes that look like they would easily replace a model a in the stock locations with few mods.

Re: f100 steering
jkeesey: I believe 53-56 or 51-56, Mel Gross does them and advertises on the swap side. The conversions been around for years. Tardel makes the wedge shaped brkt needed if doing it yourself.
