Default Do stock Flathead ford heads have any value?

Just disassembling some flathead engines today.
One has a nice set of 81A cylinder heads on it.
Do these have any value or should I use them for wheel chocks?
Thanks

ALL the flathead stuff is getting harder to find, especially uncracked (if there is such a thing) or repairable blocks. Check with a flathead enthusiast as to what is savable before you toss it. Heads are cheap and easy to get. The rest is desirable to someone.

I was at a swap meet this week and fairly nice heads were around $30.

EAB heads, yes. 8ba/8cm not so much but that's just my experience. Not sure about 59ab's.

I’ve got a stack of stock heads, keep em just in case, but if anyone needs them the price is right. Free

There are a number of things you can do to a stock flathead head to improve the power and economy of your engine. Angle mill them for more compression and relocate the spark plugs . to name a few.

Hi; Heads are getting scrapped too quickly. Measure the width [diameter] of the dome to check for how much milling has been done. Generally the dome matched the original bore size. I've found many "pairs" badly mis-matched left/right. Newc

the trouble with them is the shipping cost. so if no one in your area wants them there hard to sell. & because there are so maney you can find them near home cheap

Mostly I see the stock heads hanging from the corners easy-ups at swap meets. They keep the easy-ups from blowing away while the aftermarket aluminum heads are being displayed.

I've sold several sets of EAB heads. Easiest and cheapest way I've found is to use a large flat rate USPS box. You'll have to ask at the PO or you may have to order them (no cost) from the USPS web site. These boxes are advertised as being used to ship board games, etc. but they still have a 70 pound maximum weight for US shipping. Current cost is under 20 bucks and comes with 50 bucks of insurance. Only one head will fit in a box but its still cheaper than what FedEx quoted me using my account last time I checked.
