knee action shock identification needed
can anyone tell me what this shock is from? there is a casting number on back side reading i think P4168 ? any help identifying much appreciated. thank you

I think the term "knee action" is in-correct. I would say that the shock in question is a variation of a common hydraulic lever shock, similar to the Houdille that Ford and other vehicles used.
Knee action was a common term used to describe the front hydraulic suspension used on several '36-38 GM cars, namely Pontiac, Chevy.
