Default 34 ford headlights,Disassembly

Proper way to disassemble headlights.on original 34 headlights any help from someone who knows. Thanks Stan

Pull back the spring-loaded catch at the bottom of the rim and clear the protruding tabs. Pull the catch forward enough to clear the bottom of the reflector then lift the door and lens assembly upward to clear the tongue at the top of the housing and remove the lens/rim assembly. You'll note that the reflector is held in place with a raised tab on the housing on each side of the reflector (or should be). Squeeze the reflector slightly on the sides to clear the tabs on the sides. From there on everything is self evident.

You might want to have an extra pair of hands guarding the lens. Sometimes they stick to the rim, sometimes not. You don't want it falling.
