1932 “B” Water Pump
City:
Lexington
State:
NC
Price:
$385
I was recently in Dennis Carpenter’s NOS parts and came across a “B” water pump that I think is NOS. I can find no sign of bolts ever being tightened up on the housing. I took it apart, then cleaned and painted it because the shelf wear had taken its toll. The felt seals were dry rotted so I replaced them along with the end caps (which came with the felt). The brass bushing still has a manufacturing stamp on it and the packing has never been compressed. The bearing even has “USA” on it. I put NORS grease back in it (lol). It doesn’t have grease fittings, so I guess you had to take yours out and replace them if you bought one from the dealer. Here’s your opportunity to get a rare item at a price lower than what I saw on ePay….and it’s ready to install. $385 plus shipping
Note: I have been told this is for 1933-34’s. It is the shorter one. Last edited by v8fordman; 05-04-2022 at 04:30 PM. |
