Crankshaft pulley problem
Have a new rebuilt engine, just installed, my crankshaft pulley (2 piece) is rubbing my motor mount. The pulley has 3 spokes, 2 of them rub the mount. My top springs are about inch/half long. This is a 31 pickup, it has no brass button to center the mount post. What is the answer for this? I don't want to remove engine, and would hate to grind on anything. What's odd is the hand crank fits dead on in pulley. Thanks in advance.

Re: Crankshaft pulley problem
Dont use the brass washer
Use a flat washer on the bottom and only tighten the castle nut enough to put the cotter pin in. |
