Default Straight Back Trunk

City: St. Charles
State: IL
Price: $325

Vinyl covered trunk with all the hardware and leather straps to mount it to a rear luggage rack. Chrome decorative nails to hold down the corners. Felt lined. Base measurement is 13" X 34"-ish. Perfect for a Roadster rack with slats mounted down. This is a very lightly used trunk. No stains or tears inside or fading outside. If you bought it new from one of the vendors you would not think it had been mounted -- except for four bolt holes in the bottom that match up with the rack. (Bolts/washers/nuts included). Tan with natural leather straps. Selling because I want a black one. $325 plus actual shipping. (For a guess, Brattons says $75.) Located 60 miles west of Chicago just off the Lincoln Highway.

If you need one of these, put "Model A Trunk" on your Christmas list and have your favorite Santa do the heavy lifting. The trunk really is "same-as" you would receive if you ordered it new from one of the major vendors. The car it was installed on was a parade queen, so the trunk was never packed with trip "essentials." No drips or tears. No smudges or fingerprints. Its a Duesy! for a Model A Ford!
Have Mrs. S PM me or call 630-715-9475. We can still get it on the sleigh.

Temps near 60 degrees in Chicagoland for Christmas. Drive your Model A to IL Routes 47 and IL 38 intersection, then one more mile west. I'll help you strap this dandy travel trunk on your rack. Bring along $325 if Christmas cash!

Headed for Ohio or Colorado for a National meet in June? This excellent, very lightly used straight-back trunk will easily hold an extra timing gear, an already-set dizzy, an accelerator spring, a fan belt, a new inner tube, a known-good replacement carb, a quart of oil ... and an extra pair of socks.
It has never had any of those items in it, yet -- not even the socks. It is like new.
Call or PM me!
