Default Tire question

A very much missed friend, who is now driving on streets of gold, had a set of 16" wheels powder coated for his last ... unfinished ... Slant Window project. He also collected a set of 16" tires that have the Ford logo molded into the sidewall. Obviously, the tires are not new, but they are still wrapped and have been in air-conditioned space since he brought them home. They have been inherited by another Model A friend. Here's the question: Who made Ford logo'd tires? How long ago were they made?
I do know how to read the date stamp on a tires sidewall, but part of the charm of these tires is that they are still wrapped. I hope someone who knows can answer.

These were original on late 30's and probably early 40's Fords, most likely made by Firestone because Ford and Firestone were friends.

I remember that twenty or thirty, or forty years ago, there was a tire manufacturer who made a 'run' of FORD script tires, of the late '30's, early '40's style. It is possible that your friend may have bought a set of these newer tires. White walls were on both sides of the tire.

Thanks.
I would never divulge whether or not the tires are glorified.
