Ahooga horn
Who makes the best authentic sounding 12 volt Ahooga horn? Many on the market and most with reviews indicate terrible sound.

Re: Ahooga horn
I bought a brand new A&L one from the company that makes all the parts to fix them. Looks 100% original and sounds great. At one time I had an example of all the variations of original ahooga horns. Sold them all and bought a new A&L. https://mrtexasmodela.weebly.com/horns.html https://www.macsautoparts.com/1928-1...RoCiToQAvD_BwE

Re: Ahooga horn
My choice is Hutchins. I bought my 1st new one back in the late '60s, and more recently factory rebuilds for my '32, '40 and '51.

I bought a used Hutchins I believe from Roy a few years ago, haven’t tried it on 12v yet but it’s supposed to work on either. |

Quote:
They were made for 6 or 12V systems. The one on my '51 is 6V, the others are 12V. |
