1932 fuel tank pick up assembly
Where can an original fuel tank pick up tube assembly be found? Bolts to tank and fuel/gauge lines bolt to this. Does someone reproduce these? Do the big nuts come off or are they fixed when made? Thanks

To my knowledge, no reproduction has ever been made. On the other hand, there are no moving parts to wear out. Originals show up frequently on ebay. They need to be very clean to function properly.
If you mean the nuts (fittings) on the assembly, they are soldered/crimped in place. |

beside cleaning, if there are any cracks in the solder joints they must be repaired.

Re: 1932 fuel tank pick up assembly
Mine developed a leak at the nut closest to the tank and can get movement out of the tube. Sad that I need to take the back half of the car apart to fix/replace. If there was more room to work on it I would just cut the tube and clamp a rubber hose on it. Tank has to be removed. Uggggh!
