HELP split bones with mechanical brakes and steering arm location
I am in the middle of splitting my wishbones on my 29 Roadster. I have a question about mechanical brake rods, steering box arm and split bones.
I have searched the net... I am having trouble finding a spot to mount the drivers side bracket off the bottom of the frame for the radius arm to mount to. The steering pitment arm hanging off the steering box and brake rods are in the way. Has anyone done this that can give me a few tips or photos? I will shorten the pitment but it will still be in the way. I can piecut and bend the radius arm to miss the steering but what way... bend it inside or outside of the steering? No, I do not want juice brakes. |
