Default 31 welled fenders

I bought a pair of 31 welled fenders that I’m pretty sure that they are original fenders but I’m not sure if the wells are. I haven’t seen wells that have two drain holes without the rib in the center. I’m not sure why they have the upper hole anyway.
If anyone knows what is going on,I’d appreciate any information.
Thanks: Ronnie

I’ve never seen the same things you’ve never seen!
Could tell more by seeing the fold-down of the fender into the well
Could be just replaced wells or someone put wells in non-welled fenders

Here’s a few pictures of the fold down area you were talking about

I have never seen wells like that before, but I looks like someone did a pretty nice job on installing them a long time ago.
