Default V8 Stuff on HAMB

Running complete '32 chassis... ect. I found a pr of late '32 V8 splash pans for a friends future Dearborn project. These and other parts are not showing up here on Fordbarn, as advertisers want a larger market, or Rodders are selling their 'take offs'. It is just the way it is and it really pays to look around. I don't do 'E pay", so I am sure I'm missing those items. just a thought for today. Newc

It takes a village to build a car.

Nothing wrong with looking at all available sources. Certainly places that take off the pieces you need.

The HAMB is not a dirty word. Bought quite a bit of nice stuff off there over the yrs.

Also, keep in mind, The Early Ford V-8 Club's website has a "parts for sale" section in their classifieds:

You don't have to "do" Facebook to make use of Facebook groups and marketplace as a source of parts; lot parts move on Instagram too.

How about a brief 'point-me-in-the-right-direction' ? I've tried looking on FB and Instagram, and I'm not savy enough to figure out how to look.

I've done well with buying and selling on instagram also. I've been actively looking for alternatives to ebay, the fees every month are getting killer.

You'd be surprised at how much great stuff gets sold and swapped on Instagram -- without ever really "hitting the market." It doesn't take a lot of effort to figure out who to follow either. Think of it like a Christmas stocking; you can quickly blast through the filler and concentrate on just the gems.

Instagram also "suggests" people to follow; which may prove to be helpful.

Facebook has many groups, each with their own agenda, if you search with your interest, such as Model T, Model A, flathead, '32 Ford, etc; it will lead you to many pages, then you can check them out and find out if it is a page or group that has parts, pictures, etc or maybe just bs. Some pages have a lot of activity, some don't.

Instagram is the "New" marketplace for old ford parts.. As mentioned above Mike that runs "partswapper" on Instagram will repost for free. There is over 12,000 followers to his page.
