Default spindle use..Q

Is there any basic difference between 31 model a spindles and 32 spindles. And, are they interchangable for practical purposes on the model a axle?

32 has replacable balls where the earlier ones are part of the castings/forgings
your brake actuator will not bolt up in the correct spot since the 32 axle has a drop built into it
so i would say no
