Unhappy 1949 Heater Control Valve

Do we know if the 1949 Heater Control Valves for both the Ford and the Mercury were the same? I have mine for my '49 Mercury and I need it to be rebuilt. Anyone have a suggestion on where I should send it to be rebuilt?

Thanks!!

Oh...and if anyone has the screw and small plate clamp that lives on the fresh air duct and holds the control cable, please let me know.
