Re: What I Did on My Lunch Hour
Thanks John, I can't wait to go up to see him in Atlanta in a couple of weeks. Think I'll take him to the Moonshine Festival... It's never too early to get him interested in old cars/trucks...

Congratulations Vic. Good to hear everyone is doing well. Now you need to get going on the pedal car restoration.

Re: What I Did on My Lunch Hour
Congratulations, Vic, along with a warning. My first grandson swindled me out of a '64 Comet by the time he was 11. But, it is still in my garage 20 yrs later.

Re: What I Did on My Lunch Hour
Congrats on your new grandson from the CT crowd. Great pic, but looks like he needs a little grease under his fingernails...but maybe a little too early.
If no one mentioned it yet, when installing a Columbia, be sure to leave enough length in the lines to allow you to move that drive train back without disconnecting. That was a big help to me when we recently did a tranny rebuild.

Re: What I Did on My Lunch Hour
Joe, thanks for the congratulations and the tip on doing the Columbia install. The rear that I got had everything with it, including the steel lines attached to the rear wish bone.... I'll make sure I leave some slack in the rubber lines. Thanks again. Vic

Re: What I Did on My Lunch Hour
Congratulations Vic. Being a grandfather isn't just a job....it's an adventure. I say this as I'm babysitting my grandson and switching back and forth between cartoons and the Mecum auction. I'm trying to teach him the concept of equal time but I'm loosing. With four of those critters running around I think the web name Grandadeo fits me well.
