The author in the video stated that he hoped that others would make a similar demonstration engine to help get young students interested in the internal combustion engine. I'm thinking either as mechanical engineers or mechanics.

This idea speaks to the fact that with today's cars, the fun and ability of working on them yourself has declined greatly due to the complexity and use of computer controled electronics and, may I say, poor design.

I big reason that I like my car is that I can do most of the work myself.
