Default Wide Fives on a Model A???

Hey guys, I tried searching but couldnt find anything.. I found a set of front drums, the complete rear end, and two wheels and would like to swap my '30 Sport Coupe. Anyone have tips/tricks on doing that?
Thanks!

Yes. Dont. Seriously, have somebody photoshop it for you and be real sure that's what you want.

Well, that certainly would be different! Don't think I've ever seen wide 5's on an A. Got any pictures?

I like 16 inch bent spoke Kelsey's but that is just me. Here is what the wide fives look like from last years HCCA tour.

Altho I like the looks of Wide Fives on certain cars they always remind me of VW wheels... I prefer 19" spokes on my Model A.

I always thought that the VW wheels reminded me of a '36 Ford

Not exactly a stock model A, but wide fives look great with the right hub cap.

Wide 5s came out in '36 & ran until '38. Around here, in the '50s, they were in DEMAND for Jalopy & Hardtop Circle Track Cars! They seemed to be LESS prone to being BENT on IMPACT.
Google for videos of Jalopy & Hardtop Races, they're a BLAST!

Won't work unless you go to hydraulic brakes because Model A drums are 11" in diameter and your wide-5's are 12".
