Default Is this a Model A trailer hitch?

Among some Model 'A' parts I recently purchased was (I was told) a Model A hitch. I have a pickup and I don't think I could get this to work with my truck so I'm wondering if/how it would work with other Model 'A's.

Any ideas?

Jim

It looks like it's made to slip ove the rear Bumper irons. I would fit a coupe. Roadster, Etc.

Thanks JP I appreciate the response. I'll try to see if it fits one of those models. I wonder if anyone has seen something like this in use.

Those U-bolts and slots on the ends look kinda scary, even with the welded-on reinforcements.

Unless you're pulling a dump trailer with the Model 'A', the heavy duty steel fabrication of this would be more than strong enough for whatever a Model A could pull. Whoever fabricated it did a pretty good job.
