Default 30 CCPU question

I have replaced all the wood in my 30' CCPU but have a board that was included (see photo) Can someone tell me whare this goes and how to attach it ? I suspect it goes on the seat riser somehow. A photo would be very helpful.

Thanks, Mike

You can see part of the board going across the seat riser in this picture.

Les Andrew's Model A Mechanics Manual, Volume 2 (Green one) show how to install the wood in a 30 CCPU. I have a 30 CCPU too.
