youngest contributor?
I just had a random thought while eating a cheeseburger after wrestling with a AA all morning. I think I may be the youngest constant contributor on this forum. I've seen some guys younger than I am occasionally but they seem to come and go. Does anyone have opposition to this?

Re: youngest contributor?
How young is young? And absolutely no opposition to the "young-uns"

Re: youngest contributor?
Keesey,
Have you stayed awake late at night wondering what you could have done different with your life, career and/or family? Have you brooded a few long winter evenings (with or without alcohol), going over every mistake you ever made in your life? Have you sat and worried how you are going to finance your retirement (only 20 years away) and hope the money don't run out. Have you come to the realization that your life is half over with ? That is what it is like to be "mentally" in your forties. A lot to think about. And a lot of funerals to go to. You're going to have to live a little more to get that genuine "40s" mentality. |

Re: youngest contributor?
Even the one about your life being half over? Because when you are in your forties, your life is more than half over with if you live up to the life expectancy. It is a sobering moment to confront your own mortality. Good luck for next half of your life. Well, when I was 24 I didn't think about that stuff. I was busy having fun, not having a mid-life crisis. Good luck down the road young man. T |

Re: youngest contributor?
Tony I got married at 19, have 3 kids, my own business, and my own house. I didn't get a young rebel rouser phase to go through. Most my actual friends are in there 70s.

I got some older friends too. Good to learn from their mistakes. They already lived it. Good luck. |

Re: youngest contributor?
I'm thinking that Jordan and Logan, the Douglas twins are the youngest contributors here. I think that they are only nineteen. Then there is the model A kid that sometimes posts here. I think that they are all about the same age and very model A knowledgeable.
Twenty four is a wonderful age, I wish that I was still that age. I'm 66 and my life is over half over. I don't spend much time worring about it though. Last edited by Purdy Swoft; 01-24-2013 at 05:31 PM. |

Re: youngest contributor?
This year I am celebrating the 25th anniversary of my 21st birthday.
Or, I could say that I have been 21 twice and am working on the third time around....

Re: youngest contributor?
I'm not talking the youngest in general. If you haven't noticed most of the people mentioned aren't on here very often. I'm here every day. This is my life not a hobby.

Re: youngest contributor?
If you were mentally 40 you would not be on an internet forum trying to point out how you contribute more than others your age expecting everyone to pat you on the back saying good job.
Its also a shame that model "A"s are your life rather than your family with 3 kids. Again sounds like you have some growing up to do. I didn't get to wrestle with an AA today or eat a cheeseburger as I spend 12 hours away from home every day at work. *shrug* Sorry, just my opinion. Last edited by MrTube; 01-24-2013 at 03:40 PM. |
