These are used with wire wheels when bolted to later flat drums without the tabs.
I have several sets of the support rings. I reduced the OD way back because thay might not have fit all wheels. Some wheels have bigger fillet and some have a .010 ledge. If you find that the rings do not fully seat, it is easy enough to grind a small bevel to get them level. These rings are the OD that everyone else sells.
