Height of 29 closed Cab Pickup

I am about ready to pull the trigger on my dream vehicle. A 29 closed cab PU. New to this forum... Will be inspecting late this week. Does anyone know the approx. height of the vehicle with org. sized wheels. If it is too high then I will not be able to get into my garage.

If you have at least a standard 7' high door, it should fit.

Actual cab height will be about 6' 6" (78") give or take a couple of inches, depending on the condition of the springs. The 29CCPU in my avatar is usually about 76-78" high, depending on how tired it is after a drive.

Thanks guys! I was at Hershey but did not see a closed to measure. My shop door is high enough super! I should be looking at her on Saturday the 1st with a super Model A guy I have wanted an A since I was 16 which was many many years ago!

Well, after seeing the other replies, I figured maybe I should go measure mine instead of relying on memory, and the tale of the tape was 74-1/4".

My parents CLAIMED to have had a standard height garage door. However, on bringing the truck in without checking I promptly ripped the roof covering at the peak of the curve above the small window.

CHECK FIRST.

Like me you can prop up the door a bit more open with a block of wood.

Their springs may have wont for adjustment.
