Default Life is short

At a show Saturday 3 of us were sitting by our cars when a 4th whom we knew came and joined us (34 coupe, 41 Willys, building a 34 sedan). We sat and swapped stories for about 3 hours. He left to go to grandson's ball game. He must have switched to the Willys. Couple of hours later he hit a parked car and was thrown from the Willys. Dead. He will be missed by many.

Life is short, enjoy it while you can.

Here's one that happened to a friend of mine. He was following a truck and they were hitting the lights on green, but one light turned yellow and he assumed he and the truck would simply keep going through the yellow. What he did not know and could not see was a car in front of the truck that decided to quickly stop for the light. The truck swerved and went around the car and through the light. My friend could not stop and he was killed.

Wear seat belts and be very careful. Don't take a chance in an old car.
