for repairing missing pieces on a treering wheel use pc 7, thats what the pro's use, its a two part material, dries slow so you can work it but will not run or drip, when dry sand, primer, and paint it with automotive painf of your choosing, if the damage is cleaned properly when repaired you can not see the repair

I've only used the sealant 1211 from 3-Bond. Good stuff. An epoxy resin with good application characteristics, reasonable cure time (not too slow & not too fast), and some flexability left after cure should work. PC-7 is a commonly used product here in North America because it has those characteristics and its putty consitancy while working allows for relative ease of application. It also sands easily after cure.

The stuff will work equally well with the old hard rubber type wheels and the later plastic type wheels.

I have also used a product called Dolphin Glaze. It is an excellent product that can be used on wood, metal, and fiberglass. It sets up in a few minutes, can be shaped within minutes, feathers well. is self-filling, and primes and paints well. I like it a lot better than PC-7.

Pc7 Works Great,After the Material Is Mixed And Put In The Repair Wrap The Repaired Area With Masking Tape Tight While Still Wet This Makes For Very Little Finish Sanding.

Jerry...I get it from one of the vendors who comes by the local auto repair and body shops. It runs about $15 a tube and comes with a hardener that contains the same active ingredient as body filler. I found out about it from a friend who was doing boat repairs up in New Englandand told his father about it down here.

Dolphin Glaze sounds like a boat hull product. If it's a glazing compound then it's most likely polyester resin with some microballoon particles added.
