Default Question for 1931 82-B steel top pickup owners

Supposedly, starting in May 1931, the A-84330 seatbacks were used in all closed cab pickups. Then, in August 1931, the steel top (Budd cab) 82-B's started rolling off the assembly lines. I assume that means all steel-top pickups had the slimmer A-84330 seatbacks.

For steel top pickup owners- How much room is there in the steel top pickup vs. the chicken wire and vinyl top pickup? Or, is it the same? What is the distance in inches from the bottom of the steering wheel to the seat back?

Thank you in advance.

"30-"31 Pickups did not use Chicken wire as the closed cars did, the ribs are exposed.

What does this have to do with the original question??

All that's needed now is a dimension from an early 31.
