Default 40-48 ford drums

Hello , has anyone used the speedway 1940 drums with stock hubs. 1940 hubs or 46-48 hubs.. In need of rear drums and looking for a good alternative to finding originals.. They seem to be getting tougher to find lately. Just picking your brains.. thanks in advance, van

I don’t know anything about the Speedway drums but be aware that ‘39-‘42 Ford drums have a register hole 3 1/4” in diameter and the ‘46-‘48’s are 4”.

Have you checked out MT Brake products? They sell hubs with new studs also. Use you old wheel bearings as the off shore are said to be inferior.

I just got a set of MT products drums for the 47 I’m working on. Top quality for sure.

Stay away from off shore if you can.
