Default Differences Between Briggs Sedans

What are the physical differences in bodies between the Briggs 170-B Standard Fordor of 1929 & '30, and the 165-D Standard Fordor of 1930-'31? Please post some pictures of these cars.

I don't "think" there is a difference except for the A pillar forward. I mean the shape of the cowl and gas tank-body wise. Maybe the door dimensions? I do know the door handles are different for the Townsedans-not sure about the standards. Sorry no pics to show.

The 170 Type is a 2 window (Blind Back) Fordor where as the 165 type is a 3 Window Fordor. The 155 type is the Town Sedan.

All Briggs Fordors used the same doors. (excluding S/W).

A good book for reference is "Henry's Lady". This book has a lot of pictures and text to show the difference in the models/years.

MAC's catalog also had a page showing the different models.
