Default Vortex intake

Anyone have a spare Vortex intake? I like the dual updraft idea. No electric fuel pump required.
I'd use a bigger cam and aluminum head to run with it.
Any pointers from anyone running one?

Two updrafts better than one updraft. One downdraft better than two updrafts

If you going to run dual updrafts use marvel schebler/ all state carburetors,,
Instead of the jets a zenith has it uses an emulsion tube design.. simple and effective

I don't have a spare one, sorry. I have been running one for several years with two Model B zenith carbs. It runs great but does take a bit longer to warm up than the stock single carb. Unfortunately, I believe Charlie Yapp has stopped making them.

Not running one but you are going in the right direction for adding power. Bigger, or multiple, carbs, and higher compression are the two easiest and quickest ways to increase power on our A's. Be careful on going to a bigger cam, too much is worse than stock. (and I grind cams)
