Default Crankshaft bent????

Had a short block built by AER many years ago when he was in Chicago. I have changed the front rope seal 8 times two different oil pans, two different pulleys now just put a modern seal in and it leaks too. Curious what people have seen for runout on the front of crank or pulley surface. At this point I assume Rich put a bad crank in my motor as I have a runout of approx. .009. Don’t think
I will ever get it to seal with that much wobble.
Just curious if any others have run into this before. Think I’m done with time and money in this engine, probably less than 200 miles on motor.
Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.

The crank isn't bent , most likely indicated it off worn main journals instead of the gear area when it was ground. I see alot of this..
If you have .009" you're proving what you've already discovered nothing will seal with that much runout.
Only way to correct it is to either grind the crank right way or replace it.

J and M. Appreciate the reply. Kind of what I knew but hoped it wasn’t. Thanks for your thoughts.
