Hood top query

[Road Trip]

I picked up a complete '28/9 hood, or so I thought. The sides are for sure '28/9, but the tops have the bead along the side hinge, like the '30/1. any thoughts on this? Did someone do a switcheroo at some point?

I believe that the 28-29 hood with the bead on the side is from the 4 dr sedan. this body style did not have the cowl posts like other 28-9 body styles.

To add a bit, the hood tops with bead are used not only on the '29 deluxe four door, but the '29 cabriolet and the '29 town car also.
