Full springs or individual leafs? Shipping weight hurts a lot!!
I know around here, knife makers love that steel.

take forever to sell, but if you list them on CL reasonably, they should be gone in a year.

Found an old tire on the side of the road, it’s for sale, you have to pay for shipping.

Enjoy.

Honestly, swap meet sale would be your best. There are still folks who want the orig A springs vs the repop junk. You could list them for sale on here and the Hamb?

Antique car springs are still made in Michigan by a company that made them in the early years, so you don't need to buy inferior repops.

What is the name of the company? Do you have any contact info for them?

Being of Scottish descent I had to have a claymore to hang on the wall. The guy I got it from told me it was made from OCS steel. I asked what that was. He told me Old Chevy Spring.....

A few years ago I inquired to Eaton about a front spring. They had a print of the spring. But they used one thickness for all leaves whereas the print showed three different thicknesses. They said it was too costly to stock every thickness for the volume of sales. The rears would be the same situation. So, spring load and rate are not to spec. Most likely don't care as their fatigued and worn-out springs were worse.

FWIW, they special-made to print two fronts for a friend and myself. Probably because he was a truck suspension engineering supervisor for Ford and Eaton made prototypes for Ford. They milled two thicknesses to get the second and third dimensions and the first was their normal all-leaf dimension. It cost us quadruple their normal front spring charge.

My prints show only two thicknesses for the front springs; A-5314 - A-5317 leafs were 0.220"-0.230" thick, and the A-5318 thru A-5323 leafs were 0.180"-0.190" thick. A-5314 was the Main Leaf.

There were 3 different thickness' of leaves used on the passenger car rear springs (0.220"-230", 0.260"-.270", and 0.300"-.310)

Cook's spring were reportedly "made to Ford Blueprints." Which would indicate varying thickness of leaf.
