Cool The Fordor you have when you're not having a Fordor.

Funeral coach. If you look close along the back curve of the body about 1/4-1/3 up you can just see the bottom door hinge.

If you're correct, why can't we see the top door hinge?

My guess is it is a '30-31 Deluxe Delivery with glass in the advertising panel.

All three rear door hinges are different lengths with the bottom being the longest.

I don’t think it is a funeral coach-to short. I think what they did is stretch a Tudor and added either more legroom or a third seat facing backwards. I have seen it in other cars of our era.

Its hard to look at. That body flys out past those back fenders a lot. The top material is in the tudor style.

In comments elsewhere someone said "It's a Deluxe delivery with retrofitted rear windows and a rear seat bench. Several like this vere built here in Norway."

It looks like it may have 2 doors on the other side.

A Deluxe Delivery with added side windows. It may well have been done as a hearse as the first poster said [ the factory hearse was based on the AA Deluxe Panel ] but whatever, it is very interesting & highlights that std. bodies could often be altered for commercial applications in the era.

I believe that since it does have a back door, and obviously its too short for a coffin to be slipped into, then its best use could be a flower car. It would be excellent for that use. It does look like it could have a middle door on the right side of the car. That gives the driver a wider door on the left to easily slide in and out of. The right and back doors (?) to load flowers We had a glossy black 1930 AA hearse at the Oak Harbor mortuary when I was a kid, and the hearse was based on the AA chassis with wire spoked 1929 20"wheels on it. It looked really sharp to me. The AA hearse was plenty big for any coffin to be slid into with room to spare. It was a sad day when my neighbor chopped off the body and made a flat bed truck out of the 1930 AA Ford hearse.

It looks a bit like this one that is for sale on German eBay:

Click on this link to go to the eBay listing. There you can see various photos from all sides and of the inside configuration as well.
