Default Woodies on the Wharf

Thought I would mention that the 18th annual Woodies on the Wharf in Santa Cruz, Ca. is this Saturday, the 23 rd. All woodies, we usually
get around 200. Free to enter your real woodie, no PT Cruisers please,
and free to the public. Great time, weather is excellent, great food etc.

I will be with the gray '49

Hey there! I know that I seem to be resurrecting an old post, but does anyone here frequent this event still? I am thinking about making the 3000 mile trip from Indiana to CA for it--in possible hopes of getting information on my father's 1955 Country Squire.

Is it worth the trip?

Going as strong as ever! A must for all woodie owners and admirers. All the info you'll need is on the website:

We had the 20th event this past June, and by all accounts this was the largest crowd. 10K in attendance according to the city. Regarding your father's 55 CS, are you on the yahoo woodie group? Good place to start.

That is great to hear! I, my son, or the both of us may attend this summer! Any excuse to get to California! I am going to check out that group immediately. Wish I had known about this earlier. Thanks!

Wow...a '29. That vehicle is only 7 years younger than my pop...he had a '55. I'm going to have to look into Woodie Times, maybe they have back issues online. Cheers.
