Default Overhaul your Gearbox - Series of 4 Videos

If you ever doubted your ability to overhaul your Model A gear box.....fear no more. Russell has found a series of 4 videos, presented by George Bell, which takes the viewer through the entire process of removing the gear box from the car, examination of all the parts and how to put everything back together.
The videos are well worth watching, even just to see how everything works.

These videos were great! This is the first time I’ve seen a Model A transmission rebuild. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great series of Videos on how to rebuild the Model A Ford Transmission. It shows how to remove the Transmission, and how to inspect the various parts. To make things easier to understand, George has make up a wooden stand to represent how all the parts fit into the case. Very educational.

This video series is excellent. I'm only disappointed that he hasn't posted the final video showing re-installation. From comments on his video it sounds like he got it all back together and has been driving on it, but hasn't finished editing the final video. I hope he does so soon.

I have a spare tranny that I bought specifically to experience disassembly and reassembly. These videos took a lot of the fear out of that. I also liked the cutaway that he built (that mercman posted a picture of). I may just build one of those myself as a display.

Are there a series of videos for the flathead V8 transmissions as well?
