B distributor cam
I PURCHASE A CAM , SUPPOSE TO BE A 'B' CAM? HOW DO I DISTINGUISE AN A FROM B CAM. I WAS TOLD A B WORKS BETTER/. SOME TIME BACK, I SAW AN ARTICLE ON B CAMS THAT HAD TO DO WITH LINES???? CAN SOMEONE DIRECT ME TO THAT OR HOW TO TELL IF i HAVE A B CAM? THANKS AS ALWAYS/ PS WENT TO NEW ENGLAND SHOW AT STURBRIDGE.. FANTASTIC.... OVER 250 CARS OF ALL TYPES/ JOSH

Notice that the A cam has 8 distinct lines, while the B cam has only 4. |

Yes it is reproduced we are now making new ones, they are now made of hardened tool steel like the original, these are not powdered metal like some of the older replacments. I have several reports back that the customer noticed a big improvment after replacing there old cam. If anyone wants more info email me at [email protected] Thanks Bill Stipe
