Default registar of remaining A's

is there a listing or collection of A's still left in existence? All that I have come across is a listing of engine/frame number as to the month of manufacture.

Might be helpful if enough people enter data. If every club encouraged registration, there woudl be a good data base. Here is where you go to register your car.

In theory this is a nice idea, however with so little privacy online wise, I respectfully wish to protect the little I can.

It's always been my contention that the only accurate count on how many Model A's there are out there would be to compare insurance numbers with DMV numbers. I don't think that those numbers would compromise my privacy. I constantly get catalogs for Jeep accessories because I own a Jeep and there's not a week that goes by that I don't get a pitch for an extended warranty on my wife's car.

Numbers, not necessarily names, would be helpful. As far as projects go that aren't registered or insured, no big deal as they will be added down the line.

Great project for MAFCA or MARC.

That still would not be very accurate from the things I have seen. Mine is not licenced and I know of several dozen running cars stored away in barns that hve not been licenced for decades. Rod

There is no way to get the true number.

There are a whole group of problems;

1) The very first problem I see it what constitutes an A?
2) You can buy the DMV lists from third party narrowed down by location, model, etc. but see number 1
3) even if you could get info from insurance companies, see number 1

Anyway you get the idea. I believe there are at least as many (if not more) are not on any DMV or Insurance rolls as there are recorded. And see number 1.
