Default Open car top snap locations

I ran into an article in an old issue of the Restorer magazine that had the location for the 6 top snaps for a 30/31 open car windshield. I have a 28/29 phaeton that needs to have the top snaps drilled and installed. My question is: Are the top snap locations the same for 28/29 as for 30/31 open cars. If they are different, could someone post the dimensions for where the snap holes are located?
Thanks

[ They are different] . Even in 30/31 from Standard to Deluxe models due to windshield stanchion} 13 inch to 15 inch.{ You are talking about the side curtain snaps right? Your best bet is to install your side certains[if you have them already] and mate up where they hit on the body for location.

Rusty, Come to the movie shoot in Excelsior today at 2 PM. I'll have my 1928 Phaeton there and you can measure my windshield. The cemetary on the hill is where the action takes place. Wear 1930 period clothing and you can also be in the scene. A dark double breasted suit is what Gary is asking for. I don't have the coat, but will wear suspenders and a vest.
