Default Finish on Nut(Sediment Bowl/Dash A-21923

Ford Parts Price List indicated plain (no letter after number).

Ford Model A Standard Hardware booklet indicates S-7 cad plate

Judging Standards - No guidance (unless I missed it)

Which is correct finish?

Thanks - Hunter

I have found this nut to be plain finish. So thats what i did. Maybe at one point the plain changed to Cad. ? There's more then one Ford price list. Find a orginial one at least 1-2 months before date of your car.

Unfinished is the only finish that I have encountered. Congrates Peter! That was one outstanding Phaeton.

Peter,

Be kind to us old people; in 1 month I'll be 82; still going strong and driving my A's as much as possible. We made a 500 plus miles round trip the last of April thru May 2; club members don't even worry if I'm behind them driving 45 to 55 MPH. Hope to finish my December 1927 A in time for San Diego ?
