Radiator cap question
Hi guys, newbie here. I was just wondering if anyone could help me to identify this radiator cap, I’m under the impression that it’s a model a flying quail. It’s for sale on eBay, I found it in my grandfathers storage and would like to provide customers the most information I can! Thanks a lot, here’s the link to the posting on eBay https://m.ebay.com/itm/Model-A-Ford-...8AAOSwtZ5aoBks

Re: Radiator cap question
To provide full information remove the gasket at the base of the quail where it contacts the radiator fill, and tell us if there is a manufacturers name there, and if so what is the name.

Re: Radiator cap question
You can determine if it is an original by looking inside the cap for the manufacturer’s name. It will say either stanco or Jarvis, and there will also be a letter and number in there. It appears to be a cap for 1930-31.
The edges of the wings don’t look to me like original, but sharper photos would help.

Re: Radiator cap question
Someone correct me but I always thought all quail radiator caps were after market items although they were available back in the Model A days.
