I know I did not get permission from by Mitch to use his photo , but I thought this conversion to B&W would make it look like it was taken in Fall 1930

Great looking cars.
Mlp623, if you are waiting to get a pinstripe, Jim Brand can't be too far from you. |

HA! Jim did pinstripe it - it is french grey on Dawn Grey. We did try Straw - which shows up better, but thought the grey was nice. See pic...

Re: Fords in the Fall
Thanks. It is Dawn Grey and Dawn Grey light. 1928 colors, but reversed. Wouldn't pass for fine point but does great for driving around in the fall. Notice how pale it looks in the full sun in one picture - that is not a good representation of the color. The other "darker" more saturated colors are more representative.

Re: Fords in the Fall
Now that I looked closer I can faintly see the pinstripe in your first picture. Those sure are beautiful colors, and I hope I can see it in person some day.

Just over a week ago. Not a lot of reds this year near here, we didn't have a good frost to get them going. Lots of yellow though.

I know my coupe isn't a complete stocker, but everything on the outside is pre-'46 and there are leaves in the background.

From our Fall Color tour last weekend. The Tudor is mine. The roadster belongs to Andrew and JoAnn Jackman.

Re: Fords in the Fall
A couple weekends ago, a few of us went on a fall color drive in Southeastern Minnesota. All three of us own 1929 Model A Tudors and with all the side trips, we covered about 180 miles for the day.

Re: Fords in the Fall
Tom, the old gas station is a mini museum and located in Wallen, MN. It is open to the public most weekends when the weather is nice. The drive-through stone barn is located is a very rural area between Chatfield and Racine, MN.

Fords in the Fall
Here is a photo of my 1930 Canadian Standard Phaeton on IMAFD, but not this year. I was unable to drive this season, as I took a fall and broke my hip, so I missed out on International Model A Ford day.
