Re: The Fine Point cars of Reno
Wasn’t it 497.7? A pretty darned nice car what ever way.
The list of gold standard car seemed endless.

Re: The Fine Point cars of Reno
MARC National had only five cars in fine point judging..MAFCA had around twenty.Takes a special breed to devote the time and effort, then allow a judge to score your work.

Re: The Fine Point cars of Reno
Congratulations to all the vehicles (and their owners) that were in the fine point judging. Just wish that I could have been there to see all those incredible Model A's.
Doug, you continue to outdo yourself which sets the bar higher and higher for all of us. Barbara Jo, it is always a treat to see what your next project will be. The Town Car Delivery is outrageous and adds to your stable of top A's. Ron, I'm so proud of you. For a guy older than the Sierra Mountains, you made all the early "A" crowd folks proud with your wonderful railroad truck. Arlyn, be forewarned that if you ever leave your keys in the ignition of that beautiful car, I will steal it and bring it to Montana where it belongs. :-0 Again, congratulations to all the vehicles and their owners. |

Re: The Fine Point cars of Reno
Just added a couple of pictures of the 160-C from Reno.
Not as flashy as the Town Car Delivery, but managed a Best-of0Show |

Re: The Fine Point cars of Reno
Neat cars. That last picture of the '28 Tudor with 19" wheels kinda throws you, for being a Fine Point car though.
Neat thanks for posting them. |

Re: The Fine Point cars of Reno
The 29 open cab pickup with the whitewalls scored a 407 fine point...and is driven regularly.
