Default Looking For Info On This TRAILER HITCH 1931 Pickup

This hitch came with my truck when I got it. I can't tell if this is a one-off, or if these were commercially sold. Does someone recognize this?

While in the USMC, I bought 1930 A PU in 1967 in San Bernardio, CA that had a trailer hitch just like the hitch pictured. I took it off because I thought it detracted from the PU, and I didn't have an thing to tow with it. The hitch looked to be of a manufactured quality.

That's great info, thank you!
Now if I could just find out who made it and when.
