Good news for sure! I've got a 47 dist that needs freshening up and those NOS Delco conversions sound great. I'll have to get me one of those as well.

My wife says i cant answer the car question in public ! But i happen to have a
1917 T Roadster pickup, 1923 Ford T Speedster, 1956 VW Beetle, 1953 Oldmobile Custom low rider, and a 1949 Ford F100 land speed truck with flathead engine.... runs XF/PP

does the 226 use the flat crab or is it the upright loadamatic?
The load amatic needs to use another distributor core and adapt the lower end for the distributor drive etc.
We have done a few but its a operation i have to have done down the street for the machine work etc. That usually takes extra time and money...
