Default Shock advice

I need to put some shocks on my A. I have heard of Stipe shocks and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them or if there were other options anyone could suggest

I'm using Stipe shocks and am happy with them. I've had the $700 'oil-less' units and find them to be a complete waste of time and money. Properly rebuilt originals is also a good way to go, but, its kind of a crap shoot. Re-sleeved originals can approach the cost of new.

We have Stipe shocks on the roadster pickup, very nice units but he is selling his last run. If he is out having originals rebuilt is still an option.

I put my new Stipe shocks on today and I have to say what a difference!! WOW! Makes the truck ride much and handle much smoother. I will say the tubular shock links were a bit of a pain to put on but with enough grease, some vise grips, and patience it wasn't too bad of a job!
