Re: Model A clubs?
Jason,
If you were to go to the MAFCA website www.mafca.com and the MARC website www.modelaford.org you will find a whole list of clubs in your area. There were four (4) types of 1929 coupes: Standard Coupe, Special Coupe, Sport Coupe and Business Coupe...do you know which one your grandfather had? Pluck |

Re: Model A clubs?
Welcome to the Model A hobby. You have the right idea about locating a local club to get involved with. Next month there is a regional meet in the New England area you might try and visit that you will see an assortment of Model As and be able to meet people from all over the East coast area.

Re: Model A clubs?
Welcome to the Model A hobby Jason. I also note that your Avatar appears to be a Model C, Allis Chalmers Tractor. I have one like it and use it all the time. Mine is a 1947 with a 5' Woods belly-mount mower.
It's great that you see the value of the "old iron" at your age. I hope you continue to support the old stuff and good luck with locating a club in your area..... |

Re: Model A clubs?
Welcome Jason,
Just thought I would throw on a picture of our 1929 Standard Coupe we picked up in April of this year. Being a standard coupe, it does not have a rumble seat. Although I saw a 1929 standard coupe last weekend with a rumble in it-they can be installled if you only have a trunk. Good luck finding your new dream.

Re: Model A clubs?
yeah that is beautiful and I know he said it had a rumble seat so it must have been the lowest model that had one which ever one that would be and that it was a hardtop
