Default 1933 inner fender question?

My 33 inner fenders have 2 holes at front, for mounting to the bottom radiator splash shied. The replacement shield has 1 hole drilled on each side, did the original shield have 2 holes on each side? Thanks

Yes, and on the '33 version clinch (D) nuts were originally installed in the four holes, two per side. The '34 version only has the plain holes, two per side. My impression is that all of the reproductions are of the '34 versions which have a number of other differences compared to original '33s, of which there are several versions depending on the point in time during the model year..
