With respect, the Ford Barn is not a democracy.
You don't get a vote, I don't get a vote.
We play by Ryan's rules.

It won't work any other way.

At least Ryan has the integrity of this, an automotive forum, foremost in his mind. If we let the rest of you run it. the majority of threads would be off-topic, resulting in utter chaos. Which, by the way this thread is rapidly approaching. I predict it's imminent demise.

I've great respect for this site, nearly all its members and Ryan.
What's incredible is WE lost a valuable and respected members info and insight of old Fords.
You can read that easily just in this thread.
Many members have thicker skin than others. Therefore they can handle what those with very "thin skin" can not.
It's too bad that those with thinner skin can whine so loud.
Happy Sunday guys.
Wish it was later spring and the snow was melted. I'd be out cruising a couple hours ago.

If you were a member of Fordbarn prior to May of 2010 you might know the answer to your own question.

That answers why I don't know this guy. I joined in May, 2010 - not prior to that.
And, of course if I knew the answer I would not have posed the question.

The May 2010 date was due to the server change. I don't think anyone has a date before that (that isn't a moderator?). Anyone with that date could have been on Shelly's barn for years before that. thought you were? Great site and glad Ryan picked it up and kept going. Maybe there was another server change also. My hamb says 06 or something. First joined 99-01 ish. Doesn't really matter either.

The May 2010 date was due to Shelly and Ryan shaking hands, at least figuratively! DD

Well ya true. All this had to go somewhere (shelly to ryan), first new sign up was around that time. Shelly's had a very different interface. Maybe they had the same computer server? Think not. But yes that is the date-ish.

New beginnings. Hope all is swell!

Apparently I have been around longer than I'd recalled. The ol' memory bank ain't what it used to be by any measure.

Thanks. I recall seeing those girls. I thought they were perhaps his grand daughters - they appeared to be around 14 years old.

Man, I ain't so sure what to think about that. It doesn't require too much smarts to put the cursor on the little picture and click the left button ONE time to enlarge it. In fact, I'd bet that I could probably teach my big ol' goofy Labrador to click that mouse in short order. DD
