Era pictures of Model A school bus
I are looking for pictures from the 1928-1931 era of kids in front of a Model "A" school bus. If anyone has pictures (That don't violate copyright laws if they are reproduced) please let me know where I can view them.
Thanks for your help. Marshall |

A Model AA School Bus in New Zealand, probably 1931. Looks to be driver standing alonside, but no kids.
These were built by [ Ford Canada], NZ agent CMC [ through a sub. co.] that made most of the big truck cabs & buses. |

Here's one from the commercial vehicles thread, from "tiopato2000" on Flickr.
And another: There are also lots of brochures on the same thread which feature buses without kids, but the kids make the picture Last edited by John Butts in CT; 05-10-2012 at 02:10 PM. Reason: addad "but the kids make the picture" |

I like the water cans hanging from the front of the '32' school bus.

I particularly like the second image. How'd you like to ride in the last seat of that rig on a hilly road? Of course, judging from the background, I'll wager that the nearest hill was 100 miles away. Looking at the shadows and the nice dresses of the two young girls, I suspect that this was the first day of school, in the morning, with the photographer catching the kids at the end of a farm driveway, with the "bus" on a County road heading north to education and the future. |

The first thumnail is the bus that was restored by the Hangtown A's in Placerville California back in the 1990s. It has been donated to the Model A museum.
